Billy has worked with various visual media, including painting, drawing, experimental video, and other analog and digital techniques. His research draws from cinema, pop culture, the television culture of the 60s, 70s, and 80s, as well as elements of an autobiographical nature, with a special regard for the everyday. These elements, elaborated through painting, offer new forms of poetic resignification, through continuous exploration and experimentation of the pictorial language.

His works have been acquired by collectors in Chile, Mexico, England, the United States, Canada, France, and Sweden, among others.
