Words that Sound Like a Farewell

“Words that Sound Like a Farewell” is Wladymir Bernechea’s remastered remake of Mogura, a well-known (non-existent) arcade game from the 1990s about a shapeless character who lives in a world of underground tunnels.

1st stage: The figure of Mogura could be embodied by a ユーザー user of this remake (you), Wladymir himself, or the faceless characters in his paintings and drawings.

2nd stage: Wladymir moves between light and dark –the rods and cells of his eyes are sensitive to dim light!– allowing him to detect the radical presence of black and white.

3rd stage: …but also the interstices between both shades, the impact of the image.
